3KMS: the pavilion built on 3 kilometers of wood

stripe3km

What's the installation about

3 km of 4.5-meter-long pine wood slats, 40 MDF panels, and just 5 days to transform the terrace of Barcelona’s Elisava School of Design. Developed during an immersive workshop with a multidisciplinary team of architecture and graphic design students, the project followed architectural guidelines and graphical constraints to generate a pavilion whose form was not predefined, but emerged naturally from the process itself.
